  • Taking action: Enhancing Indigenous Cultural Safety in foster care and the child welfare system
Who should take this course?

This course is designed for foster parents (current and future) who have Indigenous children and youth in their care, and wish to enhance Indigenous Cultural Safety. Indigenous people experience racism across all sectors of mainstream Canadian society, including foster care and the child welfare system.This course is part of the BC Core ICS Foundations trainings, and there are no prerequisites. 

How much does this course cost?

Core ICS Foster Care is $300 per training seat.
